Born out of a vision to transform the narrative of African fashion, BaffoePolo is the flagship brand of Brielamo Co. Ltd, a Ghanaian fast-fashion manufacturer established in 2020. We specialize in crafting contemporary African-inspired apparel that meets everyday fashion needs blending style, quality, and accessibility.
While most African fashion has been niche and event-specific, we’ve unlocked a market opportunity by making African prints mainstream through ready-to-wear collections. Our agile production model allows us to respond rapidly to demand, producing over 1,600 shirts monthly with a core team of just 14.

Company History
In response to a friend's request for a sewing machine to produce clothing for sale, the
founder of the Baffoepolo brand, Mr. Gabriel Amoah, who was fresh out of national
service and unemployed at the time, partnered with him to launch a clothing line.
According to Baffoepolo's market research, the majority of Ghanaian fashion brands and
their costumes are designed for a specific group of people and event, making its
products limited.
This necessitated the creation of everyday costumes for all types of
people. Thus the decision to produce polo shirts with African wax prints for casual wear.
So, with an initial investment of 3,000 Cedis (money saved by Mr. Gabriel during his
national service), the business was launched, attracting a tremendous response to the
unique African polo shirt (something different from the typical Ghanaian fashion ideas).
The Polo shirts were easy to wear, made quickly, and portable. The first thirty African
polo shirts sold out in hours because they were unique. Next, Baffoepolo noted that most
Africans prefer to wear and be recognised in their own unique African attire, even though
traditional tailors take time to make custom fits. Baffoepolo developed a fast fashion
production culture to meet Africans' demand for high-quality, readily available clothing,
restoring their faith in tailors.
Baffoepolo has sold over 20,000 shirts and generated over 700,000 Cedis in revenue over
the past two years.
Goal
Our ultimate objective is to make the Baffoepolo
brand a household name around the world, with
multiple manufacturing centres in Africa,
producing 1 million shirts per month for the African
and international markets.
